With temperatures in the 50's after the years first real cold snap, me and the old man hit the inlet hoping the NW winds would allow us to at least troll the beach. We used the sabikis to catch some live bait but there were 5 other boats constantly on the South side of the jetties so it made it difficult to maneuver. With one blue runner in the live well we trolled the beach and landed a trigger fish in about 35 feet and a rainbow runner in about 40 feet. Then the sailboat regatta took over the ocean and the seas kicked up so we headed in.
