I got to take out my brother and sister in law while they were visiting from Ohio and were welcomed with warm temperatures and calm seas. We cleared the inlet around 830am with light north wind persisting. Its not often you drift south down here. Started the day off with a nice mutton snapper and finished up with some bonito and grouper. Also hooked a sailfish but my 40lb mono was no test for his strength. Not a bad first ever deep sea fishing adventure for Matt and Joyce especially considering it was 90 degrees with no wind! The persistent west wind has made fishing very slow other than for the Bonito but they sure do make for a fun time.
