Cleared the inlet around 745am ready to drift and then troll for Tuna. After ReelsGood brought in several bottom dwellers and I reeled in a decent sized Barracuda, DDBD spotted a Dolphin then proceeded to put him in the cooler. It wasnt his birthday Sailfish but a Dolphin is always a nice consolation prize. After that we decided it was Tuna time. We trolled north first then came back south and caught a few nice sized Tuna. One on the new reel given to Doug as his wedding present. Anytime you have Tuna and Mahi for dinner, you cannot complain but otherwise it was a slow day. The water was the clearest i have ever seen. When bottom drifting we could see fish swimming on the bottom in 100' of water. Amazing to see fish swimming around your bait but not eating it, also semi-disheartening. First cold front was expected later in the week so should be pushing the Sailfish and Dolphin in close.
